AboutBorn in approximately 1900. Economist, author and lecturer. Received an MA from Columbia University in 1932, where he taught from 1930 to 1934, and served on the Council of Foreign Relations. Director of research and statistics for United States Treasury War Finance Division, and was an expert consultant to the Securities and Exchange Commission. As of 1959, was executive editor of the Commercial & Financial Chronicle. Was actively involved with the New School Associates, a fund raising endeavor within the New School for Social Research. Died November 12, 1969.
