Description
Lecture notes for a course. As described in the New School course catalog, just before his condemnation, Soctares raises the question, What is knowledge?, before two mathematicians. No satisfactory answer is reached. Since on the next day the Eleatic Stranger seesm to be more successful, one wonders whether we are given the philosophic grounds for Socrates' condemnation in the Theatetus.
