Description

A group of male students dressed as parochial schoolgirls in pinafore-style jumpers and wearing hats cluster around another male student, dressed as the matron of the group. The costumes are possibly a reference to the children's picture book series Madeline, by Ludwig Bemelmans, relating the adventures of a French Catholic schoolgirl and her peers. This photograph was taken at Parsons School of Design's annual Mardi Gras Costume Ball.
