A group of male students dressed as parochial schoolgirls in pinafore-style jumpers and wearing hats cluster around another male student, dressed as the matron of the group. Archivist Margaret Compton identified this group's inspiration as the British cartoonist Ronald Searle's St. Trinian comic series about a girl's school. This photograph was taken at Parsons School of Design's annual Mardi Gras Costume Ball.
