Description

Blue, purple, and dark gold plissé dress featured in the 1982 Parsons School of Design annual fashion show, in which Speliopoulos won the J.C. Penney Student Designer-of-the-Year award. As indicated on the back side of the illustration, this design was critiqued by Chester Weinberg and sold to a woman for $400. The back of the illustration also includes detailed information about the materials used and their prices, as well as a layout for the pattern pieces. Four fabric samples are attached to the front.
