Description

In the first of two segments, Chiang Sheng presents a slideshow of historical photographs and speaks on the development of photography in China. In the second segment, Sheng speaks on contemporary Chinese politics, discussing mass media and education, as well as the photojournalist's role in putting pressure on authorities. At the end of the lecture, Sheng shows photographs taken by Chinese photojournalists on a visit to the United States and answers questions from the audience.
