Radio play, a tribute to Shirley Goodman,  about the designer Gllbert Adrian funded by Radio Drama Network, Inc. (the Himan Brown "Spoken word" Foundation at Brooklyn College) and Parsons School of Design.

Recognized in print and in major exhibitions, Gilbert Adrian is a fashion icon whose designs helped create some of Hollywood's greatest stars. In 1921 Adrian set out to cultivate his talents at Parsons School of Design. At the Paris campus the following year, he cut his studies short when composer Irving Berlin and director Hassard Short saw his work and whisked him off to design costumes on Broadway. At only 24, Adrian began working at MGM, where his fresh ideas and perfectionism launched a new era in costume design for film. He earned the unprecedented film credit "Gowns by Adrian" by collaborating with such Hollywood stars as Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford, Norma Shearer, Jean Harlow, Mary Pickford, Judy Garland and Katherine [sic] Hepburn. Through such classic films as Grand Hotel, Philadelphia Story and Wizard of Oz, Adrian reached a vast audience and defined glamour for an entire generation.
