Architecture as activator and animator: This thesis is the intersection of community, culture, food, train and form, activated by light. A design to be located in an unconventional site [a trench in Brooklyn part of the Triboro Rx initiative]. How can the architecture and lighting speak to the neighborhood in a positive way also delivering something new and exciting? The mixing of programs is a key factor in the design to create an architecture that activates the community and area, but also animates the site and becomes a beacon/icon for the neighborhood.
