Description

I began my artistic career in a tremendously unfamiliar environment, New York City. My artistic practice began with a couple of exploratory photographic projects. These projects allowed me to clear my thoughts, experiment, and begin to develop the concepts that define my current project. It is my objective to translate my emotions and to use my life as a point of entry into art. In summer 2006, I put all of the images I produced in the first year in New York on the wall. I began to look for the meaning in the work. When I looked at these images, I recalled my feelings. I also stuck address labels cut out from my bills in my studio as a way of creating a time line of my physical existence. At that moment, the memory and emotion was disclosed. In this moment, I discovered the beginning of my current projects
