Description

My current work Traces and The Inversion of Portraiture contradicts, challenges, and disrupts traditional functions of portraiture. Each individual photograph in the project is the memory of a person’s face. My memory portraits function in the way that memory is the dominant force in the formation of the images. In The Inversion of Portraiture how I remember that person is more critical than the knowledge of how they “look”.
