Description

Vega is an educational game for children, which provides resources to help families make the transition to a plant-based diet, by involving children in household cooking. This sustainable digital pet will enchant children and help them understand how important their diet is. This gaming experience connects family members, and allows them to introduce more vegetables into their diet. Today, one of the most important challenges of humankind is climate change. Comprising one year of research on sustainability and our relationship with food, this project is trying to solve the following question: How might we help families transition to a plant-based diet? The goal is to facilitate families’ education towards food. It will not only help change the way families eat today, but also the way they will eat tomorrow; and in consequence change our planet’s climate. The process of designing this experience involved User Experience Design, User Interaction Design, Game Design, Graphic Design and Character Animation.
