A Way Home is a digital interactive story book that records the creator’s grandfather’s life from 1948 to 2018. By walking audiences through the significant seven rooms of his life with Virtual Reality (VR), they are able to see the history as he experienced it. This furthers the audience’s understanding of this refugee’s experiences, emotions, and perspectives from his generation. Furthermore, it attempts to explain the complex relationship between China and Taiwan as to suggest a re-thinking about their political issues.
