Description

The importance of protecting our online data is almost a common understanding among everyone utilizing digital platforms. However, this campaign for sovereignty over our personal data must extend to biometrics, as well. With the rise of biotechnologies and broader availability of genome sequencing, the growth of DNA databases is a looming problem. The time for critical discussion of biotechnical advancements — particularly around practices of genetic collection and intentional human genome modification — is now.
