Designer's statement: This project aims to answer these questions by exploring and develop new material and construction techniques, encouraging discourse around the term “living matter†and educate on the amazing design potential of collaborating with nature. Much like early coders taught themselves to code and hack, biology has opened its doors and we all can start growing and culturing our own materials. This project is exploring and developing new home-grown material and construction techniques for architectural and design applications.
