Echo of Words is a digital game that aids in recovery for stroke survivors who have anomic aphasia. The game is intended for ages 60-70 and attempts to rehabilitate the player through word-based puzzles and long-term retention of words over time. It is also an engine with which therapists can create levels built with their patients in mind and decide on what degree of challenge to expose their patients to. The game provides positive reinforcement and fun to an otherwise difficult experience.
