‘The Story of J’ is an abstract narrative short in music video format, which explores how CMC (Computer-Mediated Communication) technology affects the emotional connection of people. As communication technology evolves, I thought it is critical to analyze how humans use digital media to maintain their various relationships. In addition to promoting the singers and songs, in the narrative part, I tried to visualize the emotional struggle of communication processing through communication technology by using various metaphors.
There are two goals in this project. The first goal is to represent and express the awareness of CMC tech through an abstract narrative short. The second goal is to promote a band and song with low budget music video by gorilla marketing and innovative methodology.
