Living in an era of globalization, often knowing more languages gives us better opportunities to communicate and understand different cultures, and moreover, leads to success in many professional fields. In many cases, a preschooler’s linguistic ability is underestimated. According to Chomsky’s theory, young children possess language acquisition device in which they can switch among different languages without confusion (Johnson and Newport 1989). The concept of this trilingual edutainment project is to familiarize preschoolers with the basics of English, Korean and Spanish simultaneously and provide education and joy at the same time. By watching and interacting with the webisodes, children will heighten interest in foreign languages and prepare themselves to face multilingual cultures in the U.S.
