Description

My thesis project is a satirical digital game that represents the electoral and political culture in my homeland – Taiwan. I am interested in how to use games as a metaphor to represent the social situation in Taiwan, with a sense of humor. And also I am interested in the difference between how people interact with desktop/console games and with games on the wireless portable devices.

My intent is to express a serious issue through a playful medium. Players can experience the absurdity of the political situation in ways that give them a new perspective. I would like to help twenty to thirty-five year-old Taiwanese people become more aware of the political disharmony in Taiwan and treat these issues in an optimistic way.
