Description

A reproduction of a letter from the National Society of Interior Decorators to James A. Howell, Chairman of the Parsons School of Design Interior Design Department, along with reprints of articles about Howell's leadership from Interior Design and Interiors magazines. One of the articles describes the collaboration between Parsons students and the New York City Department of Corrections to design appropriate housing for incarcerated women. These materials are clipped together in a folder maintained by Parsons School of Design President Francis Ruzicka.
