Description

The photograph depicts Karen Horney, German-American psychoanalyst, who taught at The New School for Social Research in the 1930s and 1940s. Her name appeared first in the 1936 course catalog, when she taught a Culture and Neurosis course, and she regularly taught at the school until 1951.
