Conversational partners, Said Olang from Iran and Marion Reith, founder of English in Action are depicted at The New School's Center for English as a Second Language. Volunteers from Greenwich Village and environs met weekly with student partners to practice spoken English and help them adjust to life in the United States. The event was part of the English in Action program.
