Description

The photograph depicts an unidentified instructor and students during a class session at The New School. The instructor sitting in the center is probably Henry David, president of The New School from 1961 to 1963. Parts of the background of the photograph is masked out for printing purposes, a standard method before digital editing of photographs were available.
