Description

This memorandum reports upon a disruption staged by students from the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research. The students had disrupted a session of the course, The Abiding Quest for Freedom, taught by New School chancellor, Harry Gideonse, challenging Gideonse's authority to address the subject of academic freedom based upon actions he took to suppress dissent on campus when he was president of Brooklyn College.
