The New School Archives staff believes this recording was made in a lecture associated with the course, Kant's Critique of Pure Reason (Parts One and Two), taught in Fall 1987 and Spring 1988 at the New School for Social Research. The course catalog describes Part One of the course as a "close analysis of key sections up to and including the Transcendental Analytic of Principles." Part Two is described as a "close analysis of key sections from the Transcendental Dialectic."
