Incomplete illustrations of three girls' ensembles made with Simplicity sewing patterns 1937, 1561, and 1706. Completed versions of these three sketches (with color) can be found in what appears to be a Simplicity catalogue, where they are featured on two separate pages. According to the catalogue text, the girl on the right is wearing a sleeveless dress with a short-sleeved jacket that buttons in the back. The girl in the background is wearing a sleeveless dress and short-sleeved jacket with band trim, while the girl in the front left wears a dress with a contrasting yoke and paired with a back-buttoned caraco (or a fitted jacket with three-quarter length sleeves).
