Description

Illustration of a girls' play ensemble that was featured in what is presumably a Simplicity sewing pattern catalogue in a section entitled "Playclothes That Can Take It". According to the catalogue description, this illustration depicts a "simple-to-make" shirt with an inverted pleat and tiny tab that extends down from the back yoke. The shirt is paired with shorts featuring front patch pockets.
