Description
Illustration for a Herald Tribune Magazine editorial titled "Fashions Revive the '30s". According to the editorial's text, this ensemble by Jo Copeland-Patullo is in the "Chanel mood", and includes a little black silk crepe dress with a scoop neckline and pleated skirt. The dress is paired with an elbow-length matching cape, long gloves, and a cloche hat. (The editorial was published on January 6th, 1957, so it is uncertain why "07-01-65" is inscribed at the bottom of the illustration.)
