The bodice includes a wide v-shaped panel of non-shirred fabric, which connects to a waistband and additional bands around the armholes. The sketch also includes a small view of the back of the dress, showing a non-shirred bodice piece that mirrors the front, as well as small buttons extending from the neck to a small bow at the waist.
