Description

Floor-length collarless housecoat or evening coat featuring bright red lining and small round buttons on the bodice. The sketch includes a small view of the back of the coat, which appears to show two small round buttons on the back of the waist that connect to triangular panels of pleats that extend down to the floor. The sketch includes two fabric swatches from the New York fabric house Moss-Still, Inc., which appear to be a bright red satin and a tan fabric of unknown woven material.
