1934 – 1937
8.75 in (width) x 12 in (height)
Short-sleeved shirtdress featuring a small pointed collar, calf-length flared skirt, and small round buttons that close the front bodice. The dress is embellished with a narrow trim (possibly piping) that forms horizontal stripes across the bodice and two long vertical stripes that extend from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the skirt hem. The trim is also found on the shirt sleeves, along with small buttons. The sketch includes a small swatch of unknown taupe-colored fabric along with a tag from the French fabric house Rodier.
