Description

White and blue day dress with a front placket, cinched waistline, light blue chelsea collar, light blue short-sleeve cuffs, and a knee-length circle skirt with large blue checks in various shades. Presumably, the dress was commissioned by or for Virginia Fox Zanuck, wife of Darryl F. Zanuck, who was a Twentieth Century-Fox executive until 1956.
