Description

Presumably designed as a costume for one of the many films that Le Maire worked on during the 1950s. The ensemble includes white gloves and a peach colored evening dress with a floor-length bubble skirt and green sash belt tied around the empire waistline. Although the dress appears to have a sweetheart neckline, lines drawn on the arms and around the neck suggest that there is a layer of flesh colored fabric with three-quarter length sleeves that covers the upper torso.
