Description

Black evening dress featuring a satin bodice that ties behind the neck and a full floor-length net skirt with appliqued rows of shirred chiffon rosettes, which are backed by bands of horsehair (as indicated in text). Sketch (in partial color) includes a view of the front of the dress (worn with a rhinestone clip at the neck), as well as a small view of the back of the bodice.
