Description

Black wool dress with a knee-length skirt, three-quarter length bell sleeves pleated at the top, and a plaid surah sash tied at the right waist in a large bow and extending down the skirt. The same plaid surah is knotted and used to hold fullness around the neckline, and it appears that there are buttons along the top of both shoulders. Sketch (partially colored) also includes a small view of the back of the dress and depicts the model wearing a matching cartwheel hat.
