Description

Set of five sketches. Clockwise from the center: women's ensemble featuring a gold colored cloth coat with wide cuffs, large buttons, and two square waist pockets that is worn over a calf-length black dress with two additional waist pockets; white shantung coat with a black collar, black lining, and a black button (possibly not related to the full ensemble shown); detailed view of the gold cloth coat worn in the main ensemble; two views of the black dress worn without the gold coat, which show quilting around the neckline and buttons that run from top to bottom in the back. Partially colored.
