Description

Evening dress of multicolor vertical lace strips that are sewn together. Dress features a full floor-length skirt, thin shoulder straps, and a red gros-grain ribbon belt with floral embroidery that hangs down the center of the back. (Although it is not indicated, the shoulder straps appear to be of the same material.) Sketch includes a view of the front of the dress in full color and a back view in black graphite. Model is depicted with a flower in her hair.
