Description

This illustration was featured in the April 1, 1950 issue of Vogue on page 111. According to the caption, the ensemble depicted is a two-piece dress of sepia linen by American designer Tina Leser. The dress features a high collar, midi-length full skirt, short kimono sleeves, and black embroidery. The ensemble is completed with a black cartwheel hat, as well as a coordinating handbag and gloves.
