Description
This illustration appeared in the December 1, 1952 issue of Vogue on page 127. According to the caption, the chemise dress on the left is made from shell pink silk and features a stand-away neckband and hemstitched vertical stripes. The ensemble on the right consists of a lavender-blue linen halter top and matching skirt. Both looks were intended to be worn from day to night and are shown with heeled sandals.
