Description

This illustration appeared in the April 1, 1954 issue of Vogue on page 129. According to the caption, the woman on the right is applying "Diet-Form" by Frances Denney, a "body treatment used to keep the skin firm and conditioned while dieting strenuously." The woman on the lower left is applying an electric heat mask produced by Anatole Robbins, which is intended to help the skin absorb a treatment.
