Description

This illustration appeared in the September 15, 1954 issue of Vogue on page 144. According to the caption, the dress on the left is made from red worsted jersey by Nathan-Strong. The dress features a surplice bodice with a white satin scarf tucked underneath, and is paired with a black clutch and small hat. The dress on the right features a notched sailor collar and is made in red jersey by Suzy Perette. The dress is paired with a wide black belt and white hat.
