Evening ensemble featuring a very full pink skirt and black top with a wide scooped neckline, worn with what appears to be a feathered fascinator. An illustration by Bouché featuring this same ensemble appeared in the August 15, 1952 issue of Vogue on page 118. According to the caption, the top is made from draped mat jersey and the skirt is made from pink taffeta, which also forms a crushed fascia around the waistline.
