Description
Women's ensemble featuring a ruffled blouse, bolero jacket, and calf-length flared skirt. The ensemble is worn with a wide-brimmed hat with a red tie, which is also used to accent the waist. An alternate version of this illustration appeared in the April 1, 1952 issue of Vogue on page 128. According to the caption, the shirt is made from batiste and the rest of the ensemble is made from grey cotton tweed by Thomas fabrics.
