Description

Women's double-breasted Chesterfield coat with a two-toned notched collar and what appears to be slit or flap pockets at the hips. The inscription (possibly written by Norell) suggests making the coat three-quarter length with pearl gray fabric. A very similar coat is currently housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's costume collection.
