Description

Knee-length cape of black woolen fabric featuring a notched collar and decorative frogs, presumably made from embroidered silk. A swatch of the fabric that was intended to be used for this coat is shown at the left. A very similar cape in dark beige was featured in the film "That Touch of Mink" (1962), in which it's presented to Dorris Day's character in a private showing of Norell fashions.
