1968 – 1969
10.5 in (width) x 13.5 in (height)
Double-breasted coat of unknown color and material (possibly wool) that flares gently to the hem. The coat features flapped hip pockets and a rounded collar that extends over the shoulder line. The coat is worn with a wide patent belt and what appears to be a short dress with a high "gooseneck" collar, which was one of the hallmarks of Norell's autumn/winter 1968-1969 collection. This same ensemble (or a similar ensemble) was featured in an editorial in the October 1968 issue of Vogue that can now be found in folder 5.3, along with this photograph.
