8 in (width) x 10 in (height)
Floor-length white formal gown of unknown sequined material with a v-shaped neckline, short butterfly sleeves, and a black corselet with white laces that is worn over the dress. Norell's corselet (or "corselette") look was used on a variety of other formal gowns that he made during this time. The photograph was sent with a short press release issued by the CBS Fashion Service, and can be found with the accompanying letter in Box OSx-1, Folder 8. The press release indicates that the model is Patrice Munsel, an American coloratura soprano who appeared on the CBS program "The Family Hour".
