Description

Contact sheet depicting singer, actress, and television personality Dinah Shore modeling two ensembles by Norell. One ensemble includes a full feather evening coat, which was featured on the cover of the September 26, 1960 issue of Life magazine. The second ensemble includes a sleeveless evening or cocktail dress with a softly pleated skirt and beaded bodice, worn with a matching scarf. Shore was known for being one of Norell's loyal clients, and purchased many of his pieces throughout the 1960s. Two of the images included on this contact sheet appear to depict a model wearing a pleated dress while Shore and an unidentified gentleman look on.
