August 19 1942
Design sketch for a one-piece jersey dress with a belted waist, soft pleated skirt, cyclamen trim, faille geraniums, hook and eye closures, and below-elbow length push-up sleeves. Notes on the front of the sketch indicate a number for corresponding slopers to be used for the waist and back of the skirt. Ray, the name inscribed on the left side, is presumably the creator of this sketch, which also features a small fabric sample on the bottom left corner.
