Description

Bonwit Teller window display featuring a women's ensemble designed by Italian-born American designer Ferdinando Sarmi. The display includes a large painting of a woman composed of sparse lines and brushstrokes. The mannequin is wearing a coat, dress, and tiara and is standing with its back to the window. A banner at the bottom of the display reads "Bonwit's salutes the opening of the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center. This by Sarmi. Designer Salon, Sixth Floor."
