Description

Bonwit Teller window display featuring a women's ensemble adapted from designs from the collection of the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The main focus of the look being advertised is the layered and fringed wrap the mannequin is wearing over an evening gown. A banner at the bottom proclaims it as "the artful wraps to wear when you go bare!" The background of the display features enlarged photographs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art that are framed in white and are stuck to a white wall.
