Description

Bonwit Teller window display featuring their collection of cashmere gloves. The gloves are pinned onto a stylized goat figure and are also displayed on the floor of the window. The window is part of a series which features various different accessories.

Inscription

J22/ Bonwit Teller/ October Issue 1954/ One of a minor series featuring a different costume accessory in each window. The stylized goat is made of heavy, white compo with eyes, beard, etc. drawn in black. Cashmere gloves in bright colors are pinned in neat rows on the (Cashmere!) goat.
